A report published by Delta Associates in October 2010, includes a chart showing the annual change in value of commercial real estate assets from 1988 through mid 2010 (see below.) While the decline during the Great Recession was particularly dramatic, values appear to be stabilizing relatively quickly as compared to prior downturns. During the early 1990s, the decline in values lasted for seven years.
